Where every surface
is the statement.
Four industries. One principle: when the fastener disappears, the design speaks for itself.
For the water.
Salt-spray tested to 500 hours. Brushed or polished finish. Marine-grade 316 stainless with zero surface discontinuity, because every interruption is a place for corrosion to start.
Salt spray testing — ASTM B117 / ISO 9227
Every marine-grade F‑head™ batch is qualified against ASTM B117 (neutral salt spray) with cross-reference to ISO 9227 NSS. Samples are held in a sealed chamber at 35 °C ± 2 °C under a continuous fog of 5% NaCl solution, pH 6.5–7.2, at a fallout rate of 1–2 mL/h per 80 cm², mounted at a 15–30° angle so solution runs off cleanly.
Salt spray is a comparative, accelerated method — not a direct service-life predictor. We report both hours-to-first-corrosion and rating grade so engineering teams can benchmark the F‑head™ against their in-spec fastener without reinventing the test.
For speed.
Aerodynamic surfaces without tool insertion interruptions, panel lines, or turbulence. Because at 200 mph, a 2mm protrusion is drag.
For the theater.
Medical-grade 316 stainless. Autoclavable. No recesses where contamination can hide. Full lot traceability from mill to finished product.
Biological testing — ISO 10993
For surgical-instrument, device, and cleanroom-equipment programs, the F‑head™ is evaluated under ISO 10993 — Biological evaluation of medical devices, the same framework used to qualify the instruments it fastens. Testing is scoped to surface-contact / limited-exposure devices and covers:
Full lot traceability from mill certificate to finished fastener. Material dossiers, test reports, and certificates of conformity are issued per lot on request for regulatory submissions (FDA 510(k), EU MDR technical files).
For everything else.
Hospitality, consumer electronics, architectural hardware, furniture. Custom programs from prototype to high-volume production: every industry where there is a visible fastener is one detail too many.
