It started in a cleanroom.
Flush Fasteners® was established in 2022 by Brandon Serle and Jeff Serle with a clear focus: fastening that meets the demands of critical environments while keeping surfaces clean and refined. Between them the founders have over 45 years in cleanroom systems, containment and precision engineering — careers spent solving problems where the details matter most.
The problem was the screw head itself. Traditional slotted and Phillips fasteners introduce recessed geometries that are difficult to clean and interrupt otherwise seamless surfaces. Where cleanliness and visual precision both matter, that is a compromise nobody should have to accept.
So we designed the F‑Head™. Made from 316 stainless steel, it conceals its drive beneath a continuous surface — a precision plunger gives tool access when you need it, and returns flush when you don't. Clearance under six microns: functional, and visually uninterrupted.
The brief was pharmaceutical: a fastener with nowhere for contamination to sit. What we did not anticipate was who else wanted a surface with nothing on it — restorers, boat builders, furniture makers, race teams. The requirement turned out to be the same one. Only the reason changed.
We do not believe fasteners should be an afterthought. Every detail, from material selection to geometry, is engineered to integrate seamlessly into the environments they serve. Whether the priority is cleanability, durability or design, our focus stays the same: precision without compromise.
Every fastener is hand-inspected before it leaves the floor — ±0.0005" flatness, every time. Every lot is tied to a heat number, and every heat number to a mill certificate. No exceptions. We build the details that disappear, so the object you're building can be the thing you remember.
